Lazy Saturday QOTD
Sort of a spinoff to my last QOTD....... but lets face it, having a baby isn't ALL joyous and wonderful.... There are definitely tough times.........
So, what part of having a DC are you not looking forward to? (sorry if this sounds negative... but lets face it.. it's reality! ) And for those who have a DC, what part do you enjoy the LEAST?!
We always talk on these boards about how wonderful it will be to have a DC...... and I CAN'T WAIT for that day....... to answer my own question, I am dreading when my DC throws a fit in a store Or, when we are out for dinner and all of fa sudden he/she starts crying causing people to stare and ultimately for me to leave the restaurant till he/she calms down.....
I'm also not looking forward to cleaning vomit Poop diapers- ok... but vomit might make ME sick to my stomach
What about everyone else?!

We are really not looking forward to the lack of sleeeeeeep and not being able to just get up and go places. Once we have a little one, it will be a big adjustment.. but we are ready for it!!!

Re: Lazy Saturday QOTD
I am not looking forward to the worrying. When we have a baby, I know we will both be overcome with worry on so many levels. I am going to try and keep it under control because I do not want my child to grow up scared of things because of me, but lets face it, we are all going to be checking to see if they are breathing while they are sleeping at night LOL

Having teenagers and young adults! I work in a HS, and I think kids today are exposed to so much... Their friends' opinions matter so much more than what their parents taught them as children. I'm not looking forward to having to combat all those negative influences.

Re: Lazy Saturday QOTD
The hardest part so far is not having a minute to myself. From the moment I wake up I hit the ground running and it's nonstop all day long. Sometimes I miss being able to come and go as a I want, sleep late if I am tired, hang out on a Friday night, etc. etc. That is all a thing of the past. Having a child, while wonderful and awesome, is also relentless.
