if you could guarantee
that you would get pregnant your first month trying with a healthy pregnancy, would you have waited to TTC?
Just something I've been thinking about. (clearly you cant, but I really wish you could!)

Yup. Probably would have waited to start TTC until we were married a year. At the rate we're going I won't be pregnant before we hit the year mark (in less than 2 months) anyway.

Not when we first started. Now, I would wait a couple of months because a very good friend of mine is getting married in a destination wedding in May and if I were to get pregnant this cycle or next (fingers crossed!!) I will be too pregnant to go. Given how hard it has been, there is no way I am trying to plan around anything.

I agree! Even with TCCing and the whole waiting game, I believe that when it happens it happens when it is suppose to happen. Until then  !

probably. i mean im just starting TTC now...and i think part of it is that i have a fear that it could take a long time. I would be thrilled for it to happen now...but if i knew it was guaranteed first shot in a year i might take it.

we are starting to TTC next year... but I'd probably start ~ 9 months later if we knew we'd get pregnant right away. I'm afraid we will have trouble so we are going to start as soon as we'd be ok with a BFP

I would have waited. I'm in getting my doctorate and in school full-time. We started trying in July, but thought it would happen in the fall and am due right around the end of the semester. I'll likely have to take my exams early. BUT at the end of the day we are really happy. Now just hoping the little one sticks!

I was so scared to start TTC that I kept chickening out thinking it would happen right away. If you do bet a BFP right away everything will work out and you will be so happy when your LO arrives. If you wait and dont get BFP right away it may make you wish you tried earlier. Hope this helps!
