Signature Guarantee (poll)
Have you ever had to get one of these for any type of documentation? It is like a notary but through a bank.

I use to work for a bank. You can get a signature guarentee through your bank. But usually only the bank manager can do it. So call before you go.

An authentication of a signature in the form of a stamp or seal by a bank, a stock exchange member or another acceptable guarantor. Often required when securities are transferred from one party to another.

in my bank only an officer can give a sig. guarantee.

No no, I know what it is... I work in the industry... this was a "out of curiousity" poll to see how many people actually have gotten one done.

I had to do it to change my name on some financial papers. (can't remember exactly which ones)
