Double Standard
Dear DH,
In the course of ttc, I have:
1. Woken up at 5:45 every morning to temp, even though it's my summer vacation
2. Checked and re-checked my CM several times a day with the precision of a scientist, looking for minute changes
3. Checked my cervical position, for goodness sake (not easy!)
4. Meticulously charted the above 3 and spent hours searching for patterns, changes, and comparing them with others' online
5. Read entire books about fertility
6. Had two gynecological exams
7. Had blood tests and a sonogram and have sat by the phone for a week waiting for the results
8. Suffered through 70+ day cycles in which my body gears up to O but never does, leaving me with sore boobs, irritability, and moodiness for 40 DAYS at a time
9. Been told that after all this, my ovaries don't really work right and we might not have had a single chance to conceive in the 4 months I'm going through this, leaving me devastated and terrified that I'm broken
10. Gave up alcohol and caffeine, and almost eliminated processed/refined foods
In the course of ttc, you have:
1. been asked to  with your hot wife 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of weeks.
AND IT'S TOO MUCH PRESSURE FOR YOU? But I just need to think more positive and it will happen? Did you take 8th grade biology? Honey, the only way it's gonna happen from me thinking positive is if an angel comes down from heaven and whispers in my ear tonight. But I'm sorry that I'm asking too much from you. I'll try to tone it down a bit.

SO TRUE!!! I feel like I have wasted A YEAR obsessing over TTC. Reading books and sites, visiting doctors, studying and observing CM, temping and charting and stalking LIF. DH....NOTHING!

true..I yell at DH about this all of the time... but i do see how we women are so into this (which we have to be) and smothering our DH's with it. I notice that when I dont talk to DH about all of this stuff im reading., looking into, doing...hes less stressed about it and enjoys the BDing.
oh and why did u give up alcohol that only helps the process =)
