Got back my CD 3 results....
And they are slightly elevated. I am going for another CD 3 test to rule out a fluke and then I am going for a transvaginal sonogram to see if there are any blockages, cysts, etc.
I feel like I am letting down DH. We want to be parents so badly, and even though slightly elevated isn't "can't have kids" it's just sad knowing I'm not normal..................
I skipped dinner last night and went straight to the Hagen Daaz..........

I am so sorry you are dealing with this.  It definately is a good idea to have them redo the CD3 bloodwork.
Your emotions are very common but know that your Dr & you will come up with a plan & you will have that family with your DH

There are women who have had a lot of success with wheat grass for high FSH. (Ask on IF for more info) I'd ask your dr. for the actual number, it will give you a better idea of what you might be dealing with.

Slightly elevated FSH may not be a big deal. Ideally the number should be 10 or less. Accupuncture and wheatgrass juice shots have helped women lower their FSH.

It can mean poor ovarian reserve. it may mean it will take a little longer to get pregnant. It is certainly not the end of the world at all.
I had ahigh number and the next time I did it, it was normal.
I did wheatgrass and acupuncture for only about 5 weeks and got it normal. I don't know for sure if it was that or the lab was different..who knows. Get another test.
You may also want to get your thyroid checked because a high thyroid reading could elevate fsh. If they get the thyroid under control then the fsh number falls back to normal.

I'm 28.
How much wheatgrass do you take? In pill or liquid form?

I did a fresh 1oz shot at Jamba juice 5 days a week for 5 weeks. I saw an acupuncturist once a week for 5 weeks as well.
I haven't found any other place that has the wheatgrass juice as fresh as Jamba Juice. there are a few places that have it on LI but I like Jamba the best.
If for nothing else, it has great antioxidents.

Oh Karen I am so sorry. Redoing the bloodwork is a good idea.. you are not letting Mike down. I don't know him too well.. but I do know him and I am POSITIVE he doesn't feel that way!!
Don't beat yourself up. Maybe making an appointment with an RE is a good idea though. Remember that ObGyn's are not qualifed to deal with fertility issues.
