When does mama become mommy?
15 months and I hear mama all the time. Is there a time it usually turns to mommy?

When does mama become mommy?
I think it varies. DS was probably around 20-22 months when he started calling me mommy. But at over 2 1/2 he still calls DH 'dada'! He can say daddy but for whatever reason prefers dada.

This happened right around 2 years/24 months for my DD. "grandma" started becoming "mama" and "mama" became "mommy"!!

At 2 years I became mommy, and was a little bit sad. DH became daddy earlier than that. DS just turned 3 last week, and has already called me Mom a few times.  I want to be Momma again.

When does mama become mommy?
A little after 2 years old, she started saying mommy. But, she still calls me momma sometimes. I actually prefer mommy. I don't know what I'll do when it turns into just mom. Probably cry, lol.

When does mama become mommy?
It varies. My youngest never called me mama, I was mommy from 8 months with him, probably from hearing his sisters say it all the time. While his big sisters were around 1.5-2 when they started calling me mommy.

At 2.5 DD still says a mix of mama and mommy. I love mama, I think it's so sweet and I'll definitely be sad if it goes away for good.

My older DS is 3.5 and I have been mommy to him for about a year. I am mama to my 19 month old. Actually, my 3.5 yr old thinks he are british because I am more mummy than mommy.

DS is 20 months old and calls me both mommy and mama. I love the mama because I know it will become mommy. Then mom. And I love that my baby is still my baby now.

My 5 and 7 year olds still call me mommy. My seven year old tried out calling me mom the other day and I told him I was not ready yet to just be mom, but I know it is coming and already here.

Almost 3 years, and i'm still mamma :) she tried calling me mommy once and thought it was funny! I like being mamma, hope it says that way forever :)
ETA: I still call my mom "mommy" or "mummy" depending on which language I'm speaking

My dd is 4 and calls me mama and I love it. When speaking to someone else she will say mommy.
My 2 year old has called me mommy since about 14 months.
