Do you call yourself mommy or mama?

To your baby..

Just wondering.. if you called yourself Mommy, will they still call you Mama?

with my 10yr old Juliet I called myself Mommy but she called me Mama so I am Mama
when Kayleigh(5) was a baby we called me Mama because Juliet did now with Brianna (2mths)
we refer to me as mama
My 10yr old still refers to me as Mama but calls me Ma

I call myself Mommy, but he still called me mama. I think mama is just easier for them when they first start talking. DS is 21 months and just started calling me Mommy in the last 2 months.

I call myself both, but mostly mommy.

We have awhile to go before she talks so I have no idea, but I would think they all start with mama and dada.

Mommy now, but when they're a little older and I want to get them to speak, I'll be saying mama (I understand they'll say that before mommy).

I call myself mommy but when DH's talks to Jacob, he refers to me as Mama

I call myself Mommy. He used to call me Mama... now he calls me Mimi!

DD call me mum Mum...it is so cute.

Most of the time we use Mama. We'll see what happens when he speaks.

Mama. That's what I call my mom, too. As in hot mama

Julia calls me both.

In the beginning it was easier for her to call me mama, but now she started to say mommy! She's goes back and forth with both names. I love the way she says mommy, so cute!

Michael used to call me Mama. Then it became Mommy - so now I call myself Mommy

Most of the time it's mama, with some mommys thrown in once in a while.

Both. In the morning, it's "come to Mama". But then there's also, "don't pull Mommy's hair!!!!!"

I call myself Mama, because that's what Christopher calls me right now.

When I just talk to her, I say Mommy. Like I will say, Mommy is going to feed you. Mommy is going to give you a bath. Mommy loves you.

But if I am trying to get her to say the word, I will always say.."Say Mama" since its easier for them.

Mostly Mama- once in a while he yells out "MOMMY!" It has been Mama since was an infant.

Kerri calls me mama so thats how I refer to myself...for now
