Signifigant amount of time for me is a year.. I've had 3 serious boyfriends.. and my 3rd will now become my husband

Serious boyfriends where if they asked me to marry them I would say yes and dated them for a significant amount of time....I would say 3. But I had A LOT more boyfriends than that!

Including DH.. that would be 4.. taking into consideration that I got married when I was 19..
I consider serious anything around a year or more.. but not nessisarily someone I thought I would marry

There was really never anyone truly significant except one other guy besides JT, but I always had a "boyfriend". ALWAYS. From the time I was 12 till I was 21. Ironically, I had decided to stop dating anyone at all because I was always dating the wrong types of guys, and a few months later, I met JT with a clear head Had I never taken that break from dating, I never would have been interested in him. It was meant to be

I was 37 when I got married and I think I had 8-9 relationships that lasted a year or more. There are 7 that I can think of really quickly. I guess I was a "serial monogamist." It frightens me to think of what my life would be like with any of them except the first one and my DH.

significant for me is also more than a year - I have had 5 (inlcuding my DH)
I was with my very 1st bf for over a year
another two for 2 years each
my last bf before DH, I went out with him for 4.5 years
and dh and I have been together for 6 years in july

I was 32 when I got married & I had 6 that lasted at least 2+ years. I never really had 'casual' boyfriends, all my relationships were always long term, even if I didn't want them to be at first.
