Tate's Bake Shop Chocolate Chip Cookies!!...........SOOOOOOO good!!!
On the way out they were also giving hot, fresh, cinnamon sugar doughnuts and coffee. OMG!! To die for!!
ETA - At my own wedding we gave everyone a small box of Godiva chocolates.

What favor did you get at the last wedding you attended?
We gave out truffles from Afresh Approach and also personalized cookies from The Cookie Lady.
Last wedding was a dolphin bottle opener

The last wedding we attended(this summer), the favor was the photo booth pictures, but we didn't use the photo booth.

We did cupcakes for my daughter's wedding. Pic in album. Guests loved them.

The last wedding I attended was my own. We gave out personalized beer koozies to the beer drinks, but the main favor was a donation. I usually always throw the favors out...unless it's wine!

I once went to a wedding where the favor was a donation to the Boy Scouts of America. Never a cause that I would have ever supported. Definitely not a "favor" to me or to many guests who were similarly offended.
Am I missing something? Why is that offensive?

Probably. I pulled my son out after they started that policy. Just imagine how a young Boy Scout uncertain about his orientation might feel or get treated. My DS is straight, but I could no longer support the organization because of their closed minded, biased stance.

unless its food I leave it.
most favors are crap. I know the couple wants to do "something" for people. But think about it. You have 200 guests. You spend, what, $600 on favors. That's $3 each favor.
This is the same amount of money parents spend on the plastic favors and goody bags they give at parties. And most of that stuff is junk.
Unless its food don't do it. Its SUCH a big waste of money for cheep stuff most people don't want.

What favor did you get at the last wedding you attended?
A set of ice cream bowls. They got donated.
The only non-edible wedding favor we ever kept was an ice cream scoop and that didn't last that long.

I can understand not liking the donation to the Boy Scouts. But a donation to cancer I think would be good.
Also to add...Jewish people don't usually give favors at weddings.

The last wedding we attended gave out koozies as favors. We use them.
Another wedding we attended recently gave out Good Humor ice cream and White Castle on your way out the door. It was AMAZING.
Our wedding last year we didn't do favors, but everyone got a "welcome bag" (it was a destination wedding, so literally everyone had to stay at a hotel) with a bottle of wine and koozies. We also did apple cider donuts and s'mores on the way out.

We got votive candles which I have on a little table in my living room and on the way out there was a pretzel cart. Plus photo booth pictures.
