What was your favorite Wedding Favor?
Friends are getting married and looking for ideas. I told them I would try and help

My neighbor owns a pretzel store in Oceanside and she makes favors out of pretzels sooooo yummy

Anything edible is a-okay in my book.
Someone I know did a bottle of wine per couple, which was friggin' awesome. 
Donations are cool too. We did that, to PAWS NYC.

a friend who had a winter wedding gave these cloth angel ornaments. I loved that.
edible stuff is nice.
I gave these at mine
 I had a fall wedding so we tied fall colored organza ribbons around the stem and put one at each place setting around my floral centerpieces with a battery operated tea light. I had monogram labels made to put on white favor bags and everyone took them home at the end of the night.

Our wedding menus were made from chocolate and then our placecards were a set of coasters.
We also did take home boxes for the viennese hour and then had the valet put homemade air freshners in each persons car at the end of the night.
I think anything edible and useful is a good favor.

We did pint glasses with our names and dates. All our friends still use theirs.
Then we did the same for each christening.

Edible. I gave wine. If I get anything that is not edible it ends up in the garbage in a few weeks because I either don't like it or have no use/ place for it.

definitely anything edible. Some things I received that I still use is a letter opener and an ice scream scooper. Everything else I gave away, threw out or stuffed in a drawer.

What was your favorite Wedding Favor?
My fab was a bottle of wine for each guest. They had personalized labels put on them, so you can think of the couple while you pop open your bottle. Liquor stores can probably offer a nice discount if you buy a few cases. And they also sell mini bottles of wine, if you were looking for a cheaper option.

When my cousin got married he gave every guest a bag of Tate's Bakeshop Chocolate Chip Cookies. They were a HUUUUGE hit!! Everyone loved them!!!
When his wife had her bridal shower she gave everyone a beautifully wrapped full size bag of Starbucks coffee. That too went over VERY well.

We did glass coasters which everyone still uses (not personalized) and since we got married 4th of July weekend we did really long like 16" sparklers (3 per guest) tied together with a personalized ribbon and a personalized book of matches that said Met My Match, which was a blast!

I agree with giving something edible.
They could do:
Personalized photo cookies or wedding themed cookies or use the cookie as the table number placecard.
Godiva or Lindt chocolates
Personalized M&Ms
Chocolate covered strawberries

My sil had a very late nov wedding and gave out beautiful Christmas ornaments.
People have told me they loved mine. We gave out a hot chocolate mug with a pack of Godiva hot chocolate a fancy plastic spoon and a peppermint stick. One per person

Another vote for edible favors
We got married in the fall, so our favors were mini bottles of maple syrup and jars of jam wrapped up together.

I agree with everything else, edible gifts are great!
Other favors I've kept are wine bottle stoppers, candles and a shot glass with the couples name and date on it.
We did a donation to The American Cancer Society because both of our families have been effected by cancer.
