That’s funny because I don’t post a lot of stuff.
Okay I can tell you you are an ESL teacher in germany. You are divorced. Your significant other lives with you part time and takes care of his mom. He travels all over germany which is why you didn't let him in during the early stages of the pandemic. You love cats. You have a neighbor with domestic dispute issues. you have no children. I can go on if you would like and I will delete this in a moment but believe me, you post a lot and you post a lot of personal details.
I also tend to change certain things around, FYI, for that reason. And there are a few things in there that are wrong.
But it’s nothing too personal that someone could do something malicious to me. I mean, really, I love cats? WTF is someone going to do with that info?

Yes, but when someone exaggerates stuff and calls you mentally ill, then that is defamation. I responded to a few threads online about anxiety and Effexor. These are all common things and that doesn’t make me mentally ill to the point she described me.
I remember the mentally ill posts. To be completely honest you were being pretty horrible on a lot of those posts as well. I remember being somewhat surprised. But that's so far in the past and as Sash and I have proven with our new found friendship, people were tense and things were said that shouldn't have been said.

My take:
I don't think anyone should ever be banned for different opinions. No one is saying that.
She dug up my age. I don't care all that much. I am not concerned about people knowing my age. If I was I wouldn't have posted it.
I do, however, think it's odd and creepy for her to do so. "Let me see if X poster ever posted Y about herself."
It's one thing if it's recent and you (general you) remember that person shared that info but if you're just randomly digging to see if a poster ever shared certain information, particularly in an effort to condescend to them, that's weird and creepy. I've been on here 15 years and have never, not once, randomly dug up info on someone like that. Who cares?
I get that we're in a pandemic and now maybe some people have time on their hands but that doesn't mean you have to spend that extra time sinking quite that low. Read a book. Watch a show. Get laid. Get a life.
Furthermore, she searched some people's screen names outside of LIF and made that clear with references to things she found. Again, weird and maybe a violation of TOS. I don't know and won't say more because it's other people's private business.

You know what, she is a sh2tty mom because she is a creepy stalker. She is also a Racist , trump supporter. You can t be a stalker and a racist and be a good mom. There, I said it and stand behind it. And while I did not agree with KK when she told her to die, I kinda get it now. VB is a disgusting person, if she is even real, and the way she would not stop going at KK, who we all know was going through some emotional issues at the time, well I can see how she snapped and said that to VB. Still not saying it was right or that I'd do it, but I can see how someone could be driven to it.
But u are indeed inferring it was right. U’re justifying it. U can’t say...I don’t think it was right but I kinda do.
I actually can say whatever I want. If you take it as me justifying it , so be it. I can see how somebody can drive you over the edge like that to say something that was quite frankly wrong. But I didn't say it. The issue here is VB stalking people. What I would say I wouldn't put on a message board.

I don’t really know. It was northshoregirl or something.
The only thing I can think of was she made a post about someone on the LIRR and identified them by their family name. I forgot the name of the family. It was basically a vent about people on the train from LI going into the city at Xmas time and being super loud. That family must’ve googled their last name and arrived at these boards and posted.
That’s the only thing I can think of.
Janet was the biggest scam ever, though. Well, it wasn’t a scam, but she took advantage of people it seemed.

I'm curious too. Is it that someone actually feels threatened by this person or is it that she is annoying and a sh*t stirrer? It was because some people in here thought she was annoying and a sh!t stirrer. What I don’t understand is why anyone who supposedly hates drama and wanted to stop it, continued answering to her posts none stop. If they really didn’t want any of this to continue, then why reply?? Easy peasy...stop engaging and the “troll” will eventually stop. No need to remind everyone in a mob-mentality way, that is actually creepy. And regarding people complaining about supposedly VB mentioning posters’ personal info, well personal info stops being private the moment u post it in a public forum, if u don’t want anyone to know ur info, then don’t post it.
ITA about the personal info. I'm still going to stand by my opinion though that it's strange for anyone to use the search feature 50x a day every single day to look up any poster's words from 15 years ago lol what is the point of that?? and it sounds tiresome and boring. Who even has the energy or desire to do that?  Honestly, I think that's why she only went after certain people - because she had more info to grab onto and try to make a case over. Strange.
But how do we know she was actually searching 50 or whatever times a day? Why is it impossible to think that people can remember certain things from reading them in this forum or anywhere else? I still remember posts from when I was on LIW planning my wedding a long time ago, why would it be different for anyone else?

We have repeatedly responded to you explaining why we had an issue with her, you just don't see to like the answer.
Furthermore being a complete a$$hole is more than enough reason to get booted. While we are all just wasting time on here people do want to engage in a legitimate conversation. When someone CONSTANTLY derails every thread and stirs up drama with other posters then they need to go. Sorry but she got exactly what she deserved, if she had any social awareness whatsoever than things would not have gotten to this point.
So if being an a$$hole, annoying, or derails threads is enough reason to get someone booted, would anyone that constantly belittles, degrades, or wish someone to die deserve the same?

Wow, why are you always so nasty??? VB might be insane but you could really take the prize for biggest attitude. What tripped me up was I thought BOTH wrong was referring to KK telling her to die and that she was sh@tty parent - that both statements were wrong. I did not take it that you meant both VB & KK were wrong . We agree on that. I apologize for misinterpreting.

This is what I had tried saying in another thread asking about VB. Yes. It's the internet and everyone needs to be mindful of what they share about themselves, and it's one (very weird) thing to search back 15 years on *this* website to dig up info on someone that was already shared here by that person, but it's another thing entirely to go outside this website to search for info on someone and then post it here. Sorry, as entertaining as some of her posts were I have to draw the line there. You can try to explain it away however you like, but that IS stalker behavior by definition. If that person had wanted to share that bit of personal info about themselves with the LIF community they would have done so themselves without the help of a nosy 3rd party. Like I’ve already mentioned, I do not personally think VB is harmful, but I have the benefit of not being the person receiving this treatment from her as do all the people saying her punishment was harsh. And I would venture to think ANY user here, regardless of how you feel about VB and the way TPTB handled her, would not like to be on the receiving end of someone posting personal info about them that they themselves did not share with us. So please don't try to make a case for that being OK, because it never is. And just like JennP, I won't say more about it because it's not my business to perpetuate what VB did. I would think that IS a TOS violation and that may be why she was punished, not just because she was annoying, and clearly a 
Eta: TPTB own this site and they decide how to handle these things. It's not for *us* as users of that site to say their actions.were inappropriate. VB's actions were inappropriate and TPTB handled it how they saw fit according to the policies they created. I'm sure they looked into it. Let's not suggest they didn't or that they acted in a vindictive undeserving manner. When we signed up we agreed to abide by certain rules. She clearly violated them and was handled appropriately. She isn't the victim here so let's stop acting like she is. If I start causing unnecessary trouble and posting people's personal business I found elsewhere then I fully expect to be removed.
I think it's silly to suggest TPTB removed her (permanently? temporarily?) for having a differing opinion and because she didn't "fall in line". This site is full of some very opinionated people .
