Also I am not going to go back and search posts but if I recall correctly wasn't the post about personal info directed at another poster who works for the NYC DOE and was posting something about work?
And frankly it is true - we sometimes all share a little too much info and forget that this is a public board. Sometimes I look at the active user number and think My God who are all of these people reading these posts when there are so few active posters these days???? It's a little scary.
EXACTLY to everyone's point. Why would ANYONE ever bother to search up another poster on a REGULAR basis and concern themselves with posts they made upwards of FIFTEEN YEARS ago?? It is not a "good memory" as VB claims, it's stalker level behavior.
I cross searched her once (as did others) because it was becoming abundantly clear that she was an old poster in hiding who also had multiple names. She can deny it until she's blue in the face but it doesn't matter how many screennames someone has, their personalities, tone, phrasing and opinions will shine right through.

If she posted something they didn’t agree with they would be on her post within seconds telling her what an idiot she is and she’s wrong. But if she disagreed with their post she was stirring the pot.
I cant believe people ‘report’ someone because they don’t agree with them and try to get them censored. Yet, actual threats can be made by others that have the same opinion as you and that’s ok. That scares the crap out of me. Seriously.
Wrong. This isn't about "not agreeing" with her. It's about the fact that she came on EVERY board for the sole purpose of sh!t stirring and intentionally saying things that would pi$$ off people, cause drama or that were personal in nature. She proved herself to be a creeper, she's NOT a victim.

When MULTIPLE people are taking issue with the SAME person OVER and OVER again then it's a little silly to try and defend the troll rather than taking what everyone else is saying at face value. If she EVER had anything intelligent, constructive, or knowledgeable to add to the conversation then nobody would have had an issue with her.
I'm going to respectfully disagree. She has been on for a while and I don't believe she is just posting to try to piss people off. I believe that this is how she feels and she posts her opinions - which happen to be unpopular with many posters. I just don't think that being annoying should get you banned but that's just my opinion. I have read her posts. I see why she bothers all of you. I just don't think its necessary to put a post like this for everyone to see and to have her banned. If you all want to get a group FM going to complain about her I think that would be more appropriate. Again, just my opinion, albeit unpopular as well.

It's part of the reason that I don't come on this board because if you don't massage everything you say to go along with the crowd you are called names. I believe someone on here even called me a racist. It's crazy. And to be honest without people like valentinesbaby it's kind of boring to read a bunch of posts that all say the same thing because everyone is afraid to give their actual opinion.
I agree. While I did not agree with most that she said and she definitely stirs the pot. She was not dangerous or a threat to anyone. If anything, the mob mentality on these boards were going after her and she should have been the one complaining. People cursed at her, wished her dead and called her all sorts of things. People complain about her searching old posts well guess what, half of people on this thread did the same thing to her trying to play "detective". Unless there was some hidden threat done in PMs then I think it is ridiculous that she got banned, if she even was.

I disagree...I believe VB made threats to Hofsta on more then one occasion. She/He wrote"...Remember you share a lot in here and have never had a different poster name. " That, to me, is an implied threat.
No one really knows why she/he was banned.

Yes, I take this as an implied threat...of what - I have no idea.
But if it wasn't meant to be threatening to some extent...what is the purpose of such a statement?
I found her frustrating but she would dance around the topic at hand and not participate in an actual conversation.
It does not bother me when someone disagrees with me. What I find annoying is that someone disagrees and is constantly changing the topic or using "whataboutisms" to divert the subject.
I did not report her and I don't find her threatening. Just annoying and a stirrer.

A difference of opinion is one thing and nobody would have had an issue with that. But CONSTANTLY making comments just to get a rise out of people and then derailing EVERY single thread simply because she liked to  is another thing. She didn't know when to stop and walk away, she thrived on the drama.
This post was necessary because so many people were fed up with her nonsense and we were trying to slow the drama on EVERY thread. We hoped if everyone ignored her she would stop. Ultimately, if she behaved like a normal human being on here everyone would have gotten along just fine. She made everyone hate her. I think she liked it.
I also don't believe in "fake names" and if TBTB are aware of someone creating multiple names and subsequently causing $hit on many boards then I feel that they should be removed.
VB gave no reason to believe she was anything but a troll.

Wow , if you guys don't think she's dangerous, I don't know what to say. It is the mark of a seriously disturbed person to do what VB does. The way she goes after Klingkland and Hofstra was insane!!! She did it moreso with Hofstra, every single response to Hofstra was something about her personal life....I'm not listing it all, because that just brings all the info out again. But one quick for instance, I told VB something to the effect of " I think you need a job, you have too much time on your hands" her response to me was Oh, I think you mean Hofstra since Hofstra is the one that doesn't work. WHO DOES THAT?????? Go back at me if you don't like my sarcastic quip to you, not another poster who had nothing to do with it. But you guys go on defending her...you may find yourself in her crosshairs soon, since she obsess over one poster for a bit than moves on. Then you might change your tune. Keep in mind there is more going on behind the scenes then we post.

You're kidding, right? Obviously you haven't seen 90% of her posts. I could care less that she disagrees, I don't agree with most of the people on this site, but I have never had one of them stalk me or make me feel uncomfortable with them going back over a decade and searching every post that a poster ever made. You know how much time that actually takes????

Those are mostly "bots". Any number of programs from search engines, Internet "snapshot" pages, spam-bots, etc. There isn't a human behind 99%+ of those "users'.

And to be completely transparent I think that was me who posted that something you wrote was racist when we went back and forth with each at the beginning of the pandemic. I know it got heated and ugly. So I apologize for my part in that whole nonsense.

You know what, she is a sh2tty mom because she is a creepy stalker. She is also a Racist , trump supporter. You can t be a stalker and a racist and be a good mom. There, I said it and stand behind it. And while I did not agree with KK when she told her to die, I kinda get it now. VB is a disgusting person, if she is even real, and the way she would not stop going at KK, who we all know was going through some emotional issues at the time, well I can see how she snapped and said that to VB. Still not saying it was right or that I'd do it, but I can see how someone could be driven to it.

I think she did say on more than one occasion that she was an old user, but never revealed who (or I missed it if she did?). Is her original username even active anymore? It may have been banned a long time ago.
Lots of posters here have a differing pov, and I haven't seen any drama on the politics board recently outside VB. I don't think TPTH ban people just for being annoying or for having different views.

I’m sorry but that’s not an excuse and for some reason this whole little “mob” thing that formed, has everyone in that clique ignoring it. Like it didn’t happen. I followed that thread and KingKlang actually started. She was also attacking everyone at that time. But for some reason we are acting like that didn’t happen because you guys just hate VB so much. It’s fine don’t like her, think she’s a threat but you can’t ignore what another poster did because they agree with you. That makes no sense to me.
And I do understand that KingKlang is in a better state now and at some point accounted for her actions. That’s great, so I don’t want to keep bringing this up. But we also cant act like it didn’t happen and point out half truths.

I noticed this, too. Her posts to Hofstra were always very personal and every time someone would comment something to her she'd ignore it and just go right back to her. She posted a lot of things to her that had nothing to do with the topic. Her house, her DH, at one point she told her to "get back in the kitchen" - which, do women really use that derogatory misogynistic statement with each other?? I have never heard a woman use those words to try to win an argument.

Well Kingklang did tell her to die and called her a sh!tty mom. But for some reason that keeps getting glossed over. They were both equally wrong on that thread.
You know what, she is a sh2tty mom because she is a creepy stalker. She is also a Racist , trump supporter. You can t be a stalker and a racist and be a good mom. There, I said it and stand behind it. And while I did not agree with KK when she told her to die, I kinda get it now. VB is a disgusting person, if she is even real, and the way she would not stop going at KK, who we all know was going through some emotional issues at the time, well I can see how she snapped and said that to VB. Still not saying it was right or that I'd do it, but I can see how someone could be driven to it.

Well those that think she is so dangerous and a threat should really do something besides get her kicked off the site. If this was real fear then get the authorities involved. If it isn’t real fear then it is nonsense. It sucks when someone annoys you and says things that you find are offensive. In real life people will offend you and annoy you, maybe some of you just haven’t experienced anything like that in real life. Imagine if you did, this would be nothing.

I'm curious too. Is it that someone actually feels threatened by this person or is it that she is annoying and a sh*t stirrer? I kind of remember the post where she mentioned putting out personal information - I thought it was actually aimed at JennP and not Hofstra but maybe I am remembering incorrectly. But I didn't take it as a real threat. I feel like this poster has been around for years. If she was really a threat wouldn't she have done something more by now?

What I don’t understand is why anyone who supposedly hates drama and wanted to stop it, continued answering to her posts none stop. If they really didn’t want any of this to continue, then why reply?? Easy peasy...stop engaging and the “troll” will eventually stop. No need to remind everyone in a mob-mentality way, that is actually creepy. And regarding people complaining about supposedly VB mentioning posters’ personal info, well personal info stops being private the moment u post it in a public forum, if u don’t want anyone to know ur info, then don’t post it.

VB relentlessly went after Kling, at some point a person will snap and get vicious. VB pushes everyone to insanity.
I’m sorry but that’s not an excuse and for some reason this whole little “mob” thing that formed, has everyone in that clique ignoring it. Like it didn’t happen. I followed that thread and KingKlang actually started. She was also attacking everyone at that time. But for some reason we are acting like that didn’t happen because you guys just hate VB so much. It’s fine don’t like her, think she’s a threat but you can’t ignore what another poster did because they agree with you. That makes no sense to me.
And I do understand that KingKlang is in a better state now and at some point accounted for her actions. That’s great, so I don’t want to keep bringing this up. But we also cant act like it didn’t happen and point out half truths.
There is no "mob/clique", just a bunch of people who got REALLY tired of ONE person constantly derailing threads and harping on the same one or two people NO matter what was said or what the topic was.
VB had a BLATANT obsession with me, she took every opportunity to bring up my life, my house, my DH, my everything to the point where it was becoming out of control. If she talked ACTUAL politics, fine. But she had some weird axe to grind and it was the ONLY reason she was on this board. She ignored virtually everyone but me, just ask GoldenRod and others.........they were very aware of that as well.
Feel free to go back and reread ANY thread we were on together. Five people could the SAME thing to her but she latched on to MY comments and then proceeded to obsess over just my comments until she completely derailed the thread. EVERY freaking time.
She added absolutely nothing to these boards other than drama, sh!t stirring and personal attacks while spreading propaganda, misinformation and lies. Good riddance.

Everyone on here posts some personal things but NOBODY expects a psycho on the boards to spend time EVERY day pulling up their old comments from a decade ago. She had a screw loose, her comments showed a level of ignorance and weirdness that was hard for many to ignore.

Those are mostly "bots". Any number of programs from search engines, Internet "snapshot" pages, spam-bots, etc. There isn't a human behind 99%+ of those "users'.

Word on the street is that our troll was removed from the site, fingers crossed that's true. Haven't heard a peep from her in the last 24 hrs so that's a good sign.

But if she disagreed with their post she was stirring the pot.
I cant believe people ‘report’ someone because they don’t agree with them and try to get them censored. Yet, actual threats can be made by others that have the same opinion as you and that’s ok. That scares the crap out of me. Seriously.
I have to agree - even this post just seems so high school clique. It's part of the reason that I don't come on this board because if you don't massage everything you say to go along with the crowd you are called names. I believe someone on here even called me a racist. It's crazy. And to be honest without people like valentinesbaby it's kind of boring to read a bunch of posts that all say the same thing because everyone is afraid to give their actual opinion.

And to be completely transparent I think that was me who posted that something you wrote was racist when we went back and forth with each at the beginning of the pandemic. I know it got heated and ugly. So I apologize for my part in that whole nonsense.
Ha! I didn't think it was you that called me a racist but you did tell me to shut up!!! LOL I apologize for my behavior at the beginning of the pandemic as well! Definitely was not in the right frame of mind. I actually think we probably agree on things most of the time! And I am definitely not a racist. ;)
