We did yesterday. It was cold at night and when I picked up DS his hands were ice. That was enough for me to crank it up.

Yup, we just did yesterday. I was trying to hold out but the temp dropped a lot and it was cold.

I did yesterday morning, only because I left some windows open and I didn't want to get out of the shower and turn into an icicle. But thats it. I do prefer to be cooler and put on layers than turn on the heat. Also, we live in an upstairs apt. in a complex and our downstairs neighbors keep the heat on all day and it rises to us

I did. Last night went home it was 63 in my apartment. That is just way too cold for me.

our apartment building doesn't have individual heat, but the bldg turned on the heat last week and I've been SO hot. We leave all the windows open - I love being cold.

Nope, no way no how... our heating bills were horrendous last yr and im going to suck it up and put more clothes on if im cold... I actually JUST closed the last window i had left open... its 65 in our house right now...

Yes but only in the morning when we come down. It is too cold with the wood floors and the kids.

dh turned it on today since his parents who we live with have been cold. i don't think the house is insulated that much.

no way! not yet. I'm trying to make it another month at least, depending how quickly it gets cold. I don't want to deal with the bill. I just pile on the sweaters. We're hardly ever home as it is.

Yes. If it was just hubby and I then I wouldn't but I don't want the kids cold when they sleep. My little one is still in a crib and hit blanket falls off frequently.

same here our apartment has been broiling for the past few weeks, everone has their windows open!!!

We don't have control over when it goes on since the co-op is in charge but the past few mornings, my robe has been nice and toasty. It hangs on the bathroom door and is right next to the pipe in the bath. LOVE it!

I am trying to hold out, it is 62 right now but I stay layered in sweats and sweatshirts.
Yesterday was 64 during the day but I turned on the self cleaning oven (was time to clean) and it went up to 67, I still have my bottom over to clean so on the next really cold day that one will go on lol

It was 63 in the house last night so we turned it on but it's on timers and regulated so it will only go on if needed and during the week it's only on for a short while in the AM and again in the evening.
