Re: Black out shades?
I just got Levelor shades from Lowes. They work really well.
The sun shines in DS' room in the evening as it's setting and his room stays dark.

Re: Black out shades?
I ordered mine from Blinds to Go- but they are pricey there. If I had had more time I would have found a cheaper place.

Re: Black out shades?
we got cheap ones from home depot, they sort of mellow out the light, not really block it out, do you put curtains over them? Or do they make others that work really well alone?

Re: Black out shades?
JC Penney. We have the cellular style and they work the best but I have blackout Roman Shades in DS's room and they work pretty well too.
I think I have Levelor and Bali brand for the Romans.

I have curtains over mine.
They work better if you don't have Anderson windows - that you can put them inside the window frame.

I bought the ones from Home Depot. What a waste of money. They do not work.

Re: Black out shades?
I just got blackout curtain liners from marburn curtain a few weeks ago and they work really well. We couldn't really do blinds or shades with the windows we have in the girls room so we did the curtains with a liner.
