I LOVE the house...makes me want to leave Long Island, but since we are currently building a condo, that's not gonna happen anytime soon. haha.

wow absolutely beautiful!!! Seeing this reminds me how much I want to leave LI!!! I think I belong in south caronlina....lol never been to either of the carolina's but for some reason it's where I think i belong! lol

The house is in Cary, North Carolina -- I moved down here into DH's apartment when we got married last year.
I actually was reading the post on the best high schools in America the other day -- and the h.s. it feeds to was ranked #258 on the list! (Ok, it's not my h.s. in NY which was #74 this year, but still... for NC I'm very excited!)
Congrats! My MIL lives in Cary (I love that area) and wake county schools are very good! enjoy your new home!!!

Thanks again everyone!!!
We go to meet with the lender today and our closing is already scheduled for July 28th! They move FAST down here, which is a little nuts because the pace of life is so slow lol!!!
I love how many others have connections to NC!!!! We definitely should have a GTG here for displaced LIers!!!! That would be so fun!!!
For anyone considering it, life here is amazing -- so much less stress, so peaceful! You're all welcome to come visit any time!!!!!!!!
