To wait or not to wait, another 2 months...
Hello-
Looking for some thoughts on below. My DH and I will be entering our 4th month of trying in a few days. I am 34, and do not have any kids yet, so I know the clock is ticking, and I really want to start a family!!!
Here is where I am not sure what to do.... I am leaving for a 2.5 week work trip to Asia in less than a month. If we BD this month, I would get my BFP/BFN 3 days before I leave for a 20 hour flight. Once I am there, I will be traveling to 4 different countries, and of course have the long haul flight back to the states. This is probably my 9th, or 10th time to Asia so this actual type of travel is not new to me.
Since I will be out of the country (away from DH) I will not be able to try for the month of May.
So, here is what I am looking for advice on:
1. Would you try this month, and if you get a BFP great.
2. Would you wait it out 2 more months, and start trying again in June.
ADDITIONAL QUESTION:Is long haul travel ok so early on if I do get a BFP?
Sorry if this is confusing, I just don't know what to do.

The trip is 2.5 weeks, 4 countries in Asia. The long haul flight to and from the states is approx 20 hours each way.

I would try also!! Flying isnt too safe when you're closer to your due date.

I'd keep trying too. DH and I are planning a trip to Spain the second week of June and we aren't putting anything on hold.

I wouldn't wait. See what happens if you get a BFP then great but if not then you willl try in June but you don't want to regret putting it off if you don't have to.
We are planning a trip over the summer and we aren't putting anything on hold. What is meant to be is meant to be.

I would try. You will be very early on and will only be there for 2.5 weeks so I wouldn't worry.

i would defiitely try...don't wait. I think we all plan too much these days....I think you should just live in the moment. I think it will be fine for you to travel if you do have a BFP

Thanks everyone! Decided that we will try for this month, and not let my travel get in the way! Took my first OPK of the month this morning...Now just waiting for a smile!
