Daycare moms of babies
What do you pack them to eat? I've been bring in three bottles and now that Mason is starting food (even though you'd think I'm torturing him while I feed him b/c he hates it) they said they will work with him on feeding and I can bring in his food.
I've been giving him 1 tbs oatmeal with 2 tbsp formula and then half veggies. How would I pack that for them since you can only use the formula for three days once open? How do you pack there food? What do you leave there?
Thanks!

I mixed the cereal before I left in the morning and brought it a container. I never left anything there - when we were in that room you weren't allowed to leave anything.

Thanks! This place allows us to keep their food there. I saw a box of oatmeal with a kids name on it so that's when I started thinking... maybe I should start bringing in food instead of just the bottles. Of course the bottles have to be already made and measured.

Re: Daycare moms of babies
As of right now, they only give Jake 2 bottles. (10 am and 1 pm). With his 10 am bottle, they are also giving him 1 tablespoon of cereal mixed with ~1 oz. formula. I add an extra ounce into one of the bottles I send in and they take the ounce from there. Just in case, I keep a bottle of RTF formula there so they have it. Can you believe that they supply the cereal? I was sending it in all last week and then the head teacher told me I didn't have to. It's the same exact cereal I use! How awesome is that? If I used regular Similac they would supply that as well! Too bad he's on the Sensitive RS!

I'm just going to start next week ... I was planning on measuring out the oatmeal and powdered formula into a container and that way they can just add water as needed.
ETA: I could leave a full box of oatmeal (or any foods) if I wanted, just seems easier to me to do the powdered formula mix.
We're also starting sweet potato this week that I made myself last night but not sure how I'll be giving it to them (since I made the frozen cubes ... I guess just throw it in a container and let it defrost in the fridge there).

Re: Daycare moms of babies
I bring in 4 bottles filled with 6 oz water. She only takes three while there but I always pack an extra. I use powdered formula so I put 3 scoops into each slot in the dispenser. I brought in a box of oatmeal for her cubby and they prepare her cereal with the formula after they mix it for her bottle.
Since I make my own baby food, I use the toss and go bowls and lids. I put 1-2 frozen cubes in the bowls at night and put in the refridgerator. There is one bowl of fruit for breakfast and one bowl of veggie for lunch. In the morning I throw them in her bag with two spoons.

Thanks! What's DC's eating sched at daycare? Right now Mason gets three bottles... around 8AM, around noon and last at 4 and then I pick him up shortly after that.
Not sure when they'd feed him b/c he hardly eats and loves his bottle. What about measuring the formula to add to the cereal?

Thanks! What's her feeding schedule there? I don't know when he should eat since now we only been feeding him at night when he gets home from daycare... inbetween his 4PM bottle and 7:30 bottle b4 bed (around 6ish)

She gets the following per day:
6am-ish - 5-6 oz bottle
10am-ish - 5-6 oz bottle, 1 cube of fruit, 1 tbsp cereal
1pm-ish - 5-6 oz bottle, 1-2 cubes veggie, 1 cube fruit
4pm-ish - 6 oz bottle
6pm-ish either a cube of fruit or veggie
7pm-ish 5-6 oz bottle.
I only give her cereal once a day now. She doesn't like it very much and it binds her. I'm more concerned with the fruits and veggies anyway since it has greater nutritional value.
