True or False....Prenatal pills are....
supposed to be good for your hair? They are doing wonders for my nails but im waiting for my long thick hair to happen. Or will it?

I had always had thick hair but I did notice that it does grow a lot more since I started the prenatals (been on mine almost 2 years)

I was about half way through my pregnancy when I started to notice a difference in my hair. I'm definitely losing A LOT LESS hair than I used to.
Maybe it just hasn't kicked in yet for ya.

I heard they are supposed to do wonders for the hair....however there is an old wives tale out there that says depending on boy or girl, depends on how thick and gorgeous your hair gets

My nails are about the same. But I've always had decent nails, so maybe I dont notice.
My hair is growing. What I have noticed more since getting pregnant is that I'm not loosing any hair in the shower anymore. I have alot of hair and every shower I would lose some strands during the wash. I dont loose any anymore! So my hair is getting Really Thick!!

I don't think the prenatal pills have anything to do with it. Supposedly the hormones from pregnancy make it so that your body does not shed hair on a daily basis like you normally do. Apparently every person loses a certain number of strands of hair per day. So when you are pregnant, you aren't losing the hair like usual... hence the feeling that your hair is much thicker!
However, keep in mind that sometime after you have the baby, around 3-6 months later... your body catches up and you start to lose hair like CRAZY!!!! All that hair that never fell out during pregnancy starts to come out!
You will be shocked at the clumps of hair that are falling out!  That is one thing nobody ever told me about having a baby and after DS was born, I was surprised!

My nails were great in the beginning but it's seemed to wear off for me.
Hair- oh yes, and I LOVE it because I have very very fine, limp hair. I love how much body my hair has now, it's awesome!

You will notice a difference eventually. My hair has been growing faster than usual since taking the prenatals.

I didn't get the hair and nair growth until the 3rd tri, and they are still growing 12 weeks PP. So I say False. It's the hormones.

I'm not sure if its just the prenatal vitamins, or just all your hormones or maybe a mixture of both, but I'm sure you will definately start to notice your hair being a bit fuller. My hair has gotten super thick! I went and got a hair cut the other day and they were commenting on how much longer and thicker my hair has gotten. While you are pregnant, you shed hair A LOT less and after you have the baby, they say you will lose a lot of what you have retained!

I have a horrible nail biting habit so im not sure about the nail growth but my hair has defiantely gotten longer, everyone has noticed it. My hair never grew past my bra strap until now.

I believe its False and that its actually the hormones that cause this.
I don't take prenatals at all and my hair has been growing like crazy since I got pregnant. I actually had to cut it 2 months sooner than I normally do AND have my highlights re-done much earlier than normal because they grew out too fast.
