Recommend a series for a 70 year old
Looking to buy a series dvd set for my father-in-law who is in his early 70's. Don't want to get him something with a lot of nudity or foul language I would be embarrassed! LOL Someone recommended Sherlock on BBC.
Any other ideas?

Recommend a series for a 70 year old
Does it have to be new programming? My dad's that age and he *loved* All Creatures Great and Small when it was on PBS back in the day.

Sherlock is good. Also look at Turn which is on AMC.

My dad loved Stranger Things and you can never go wrong with Sienfield : ).

There are lots of great mystery series from PBS/BBC if he likes that genre- Inspector Lewis, Grantchester, Agatha Christie's Poirot or Miss Marple. Poldark if he likes more historical stuff.
