I used to do garbage pickup on the back of a garbage truck at a County Park as part of my summer job at the park.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

I worked at McDonald's when I was 16 years old. I got fired after 6 weeks. I just couldn't take it! People are mean when they're hungry!

What's the worst job you've ever had?

I was a waitress my Freshman/Sophomore year in college. I was really good at it, too, but it was draining and I personally felt that I wasn't using my brain to its full potential. I left to be a travel agent/tour coordinator.

I babysat 2 awful brats when I was about 13. It was terrible and I was completely underpaid. The worst day was when their two giant dogs ran out and I chased them for about 6 blocks along with the 2 monsters. Not worth the 4 bucks an hour.

I understood the frustration of not having the paper delivered but getting cursed out at 7am on a Sunday morning over something I had no control over was so crappy

Cold caller on Wall Street during college for a high equity division.
Did it for 3 years.

The movie Working Girl was based on the firm I worked at.

I worked at Golden Corral for one day - it was so nasty there that I could never step foot in one again.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

Pre-school in a bad neighborhood. No training, no one mentioned the violent child in my class. I was ten weeks pregnant at the time. I lasted two days.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

I worked for a construction company when I was in school. I just really wanted the benefits cause it was too expensive to get them on my own back then. It was a family owned business and the family was NOT Nice. It made the work environment horrible. I didn't last long.

Other than that I've been pretty lucky.

Worked for a federally funding organization - I liked the job but the boss was absolutely horrible. Spouted Christian beliefs while surfing porn at work, made us hire his nephew that was caught inappropriately touching the high school girls (then wouldn't let us fire him and made us use him in the office), etc. My last straw was when he hired my supervisor - who did no work and the little he did he screwed up to the point that I had to quit bc I didn't want the fallout to reflect on me.

As far as bad work - I worked at Krystal's (similar to White Castle) and was an Assistant Manager at Blockbuster Video (both of which made me hate working with the public).

Worked for a CPA firm when I was 16. Transferred old tax documents to microfilm. That's it. All day, in a dark cold room all by myself. Two pages at a time. Wrestle with giant staples, cut fingers, take 2 pages, lay them on machine, hit button, move papers to done pile, restaple papers. Repeat. Thank god it was just a summer job. It was AWFUL. So lonely. I would go through so many batteries on my Walkman lol. I would count the minutes until a reasonable amount of time passed so that I could come out of my little cave and go to the bathroom. How I loved those bathroom breaks!!

In high school I worked for a toy store. My sole job was to walk up and down the aisles straightening the merchandise on the shelves. I would start before the store would close. This was during the time of Transformers and Cabbage Patch Kids. We will wait until the store closed to straighten the shelves in those aisles because the kids would trash them.

Ikea. I worked there for under a year. Worked in the kids department. A kid pooped in a display tent. I walked out and never returned.

Boston Market.. the top of where you served the food was scolding hot and you would burn yourself badly if you tapped. First two days got burned badly. God forbid you forgot the cornbread for a split second those old people would raise holy hell. Quit day 4.

Limited at Roosevelt Field.. the most snobby spoiled disrespectful customers that walked in that store were unbearable. Worked there a year and half and am traumatized with retail. Till this day i fold the shirts back when I look at them in a store, or spend time putting it neatly on the hanger after trying it on.

Waitressing at a restaurant in Rome,Italy. Europeans barely tip and i would walk out with 70 euros after a 12 hour shift. The restaurant would turn into a bar which was part of a pub crawl and it was terrible. I literally would mop crap in the bathroom and would pray i wouldnt puke!! We also cleaned our silverware with vinegar and no matter how many showers i took, i could never get the smell off my hands. To make matters worse, my visa was expired and i had to work illegally to pay my rent.

What's the worst job you've ever had?

Forever 21 in Roosevelt Field. Not only were the customers crappy the company itself was crappy to work for. I lasted 3 months before I went crawling back to michaels.
