I worked in an animal shelter for a day. I realized that I was allergic to animal hair and had to call for my mother to pick me up because I was covered in hives.

i worked at Chock Full O Nuts in high school and hated it! i used to come home smelling like coffee every night and because i hated the job so much, now i cant drink coffee cause it makes me sick!

working at Land's End as a waiter... I hated it... even thinking about that job makes me ill.

concession stand at the US Open. I was in charge of them and like 21 years old...they hated me.

I lasted 2 days.

I worked for an internet startup 2 years out of college where I literally did nothing all day. It was so boring, but the pay was really good.

I worked for an awful little accountant. I used to go to my car at lunch everyday and cry.

i was the rookie at a bagel shop

i had to crawl into the ground coolers and scrape whitefish salad that had escaped the container off the sides/floors/etc with straight bleach.

have you ever smelled week-old whitefish salad??! GROSSSSSS

Working in a group home. I liked the work for the most part but there was some very disgusting things that needed to be done & handled.

I was a slave in a family owned law firm...a bunch of jacka$$es!!!!!!!

working at a temp in an insurance company. I lasted 1 day. It was AWFUL!!!!!!!!! all I did all day was put files away

Hmmm... nothing so terrible. The only job i really hated is when I worked for a woman that was totally and completely schizo.

I worked for a chiropractor for 2 weeks, he was SOOOO mean. I quit.

Clothing Store: At the time, everyone was hired at minimum wage but worked on commission and they were like "oh everyone makes $10-12/hour." Yeah right. They made it ridiculously hard to make commission (had to first sell X amount of clothes, after you sold your quota, each sale had to be over a certain amount or it didn't count, etc) People hardly came in and the very specific folding and keeping only one of each size out drove me nuts.

working for a lawyer in midtown manhattan who told me I couldn't go to the bathroom to pee during the work day! I quit after 3 months.

Cashier at King Kullen. I have held many, many jobs (one included cleaning the bathrooms at the LI Game Farm) and being a supermarket cashier was by far the very worst.
