Do whatever you want or what your DD would be more into. We took the boys bowling for the first time over the winter when the boys were 5 and 3. They had a blast. My 3 yr old needed some help, but for parties now parents stay at that age. They will help their LO play if needed.

Bowling Party for 4 year old.. Yay or Nay?
I brought DS1 (at a little over 2 years old) to a friend's 3rd bday at a bowling alley. He had a blast! They had a few kids per lane and they had the dinosaur slides to help. DS1 was able to carry his own ball, put it on the dinosaur, and push it down. I think 4 is a great age for bowling!

Bowling Party for 4 year old.. Yay or Nay?
DD is 3 1/2 and she went to a bowling party last month. I wasn't a fan. DD liked bowling but a lot of the kids had a hard time waiting their turn. I also didn't like how they just kind of put the food out while the kids were bowling, but that may have been specific to the place we were at.

DS liked bowling at 4, but I think he'd "get it" more in a few years... Maybe even 5 or 6 years old.

i'd go with the bounce party for that age. Bowling is fun, but like somebody else said... the kids this age sometimes have trouble waiting for their next turn, and they get bored LOL DS is 4.5. hes in preschool and they did a field trip to a bowling alley. each kid had to bring a parent, so i was with him. it really was a little crazy- after the first couple times, the kids just got bored of waiting for their turns and were just walking all over the bowling alley, etc. I think thats a better one for when they get little bit older- 7 or 8 maybe. bounce parties are tons of fun for this age!!

Re: Bowling Party for 4 year old.. Yay or Nay?
My DD went to a bowling party for a 4 year old (she was 3 at the time) and had a blast. They used the thing that helps them roll the ball down and the young ones needed some help from grownups, but they all seemed to enjoy it.
