Breastfeeding weaning
My dd will be a year old very soon and I want to start to wean her. But im not sure exactly how to do it. She never gets bottles at home (only at daycare) and I will be home for a week when im trying to wean her so Im thinking about just giving it to her in a sippy cup. Maybe mix breast milk with whole milk at first and slowly put less and less breast milk. But what do I do? I don't want to end up giving myself mastitis or anything. Any help would be appreciated!

To avoid mastitis I would slowly cut out one nursing session at a time, replacing that session with a bottle/cup. I think you might need longer than a week to wean completely.

This. When does she nurse at home? I didn't fully wean my DD until she was 2 and I was pregnant, but when she turned 1, she only nursed 1st thing in the morning, at naptime, and at bedtime. I cut the naptime session 1st. Then the morning session, and the nighttime session was the last to go. We never used bottles, so during the day she drank milk or water from a sippy cup. In the morning, I started bringing her a sippy cup with milk instead of letting her nurse. I don't know if weaning from the breast AND transitioning from bottles at the same time would be too much change at once.

thanks everyone! Im a teacher and when Im at work she eats 2 bottles (and I pump twice) On the weekends (or on any days off) she eats randomly and sometimes will eat after 2 hours or maybe 4 hours- whenever she feels like haha. Shes never drank a bottle at home (which is why i figure I can just give her a sippy cup) I want to be done with pumping at work more thank anything so I think im going to try to cut out the afternoon feedings while im home on my break and then i guess figure out the morning and night
