Queens zoo?
Will a bunch if 2.5 year olds enjoy it? I saw a previous post that mentions a petting zoo. Is that part of the zoo itself? TIA!

It's a cute zoo and easy to navigate (one Circular loop). The petting zoo is part of the larger zoo but not the loop, it's on the left of the main entrance.
I think it's perfect for that age by its so small. The Bronx zoo is a little overwhelming IMO.

Queens zoo?
We were just there yesterday with a 4yo, 2yo and 1yo. Everyone had fun. It's a small zoo so not too many animals but I think it's perfect for that age. There is also a small petting zoo with cows, sheep, goats, etc that is free when you pay for the zoo.

Queens zoo?
The Queens Zoo is adorable. My son is just about 2.5 and we plan on going sometime in the next few weeks.

took my 2 and 5 year old for DD's birthday in April and it was perfect! we were going to go to the bronx but this was soooo much easier! there is even a carousel right near the zoo , but that is extra $

Queens zoo?
We just went on Friday with our 16 month old and it was great. Perfect size. The petting zoo is there and they also have a little kiddie amusement park with a few rides and a carousel. I think it was about 3$ a ride. The only food available is vending machine stuff but they have tables to sit at if you bring lunh with you.
