Yes, we went once. It's a cute zoo. It's smaller than the Bronx one and it's not as crowded. They have a petting zoo section on 1 side.

It is a small zoo - easy to do for a morning - one side is a circular walk around - there is a sea lion feeding I think - but is basically a walk around. The other side has farm animals and I can't remember if there was a petting area as well. It is nice to do when looking for something for the morning - it isn't an all day deal.

Oh how fun...I was a zookeeper there for years. Theres a farm to feed animals, fun for the kids. Then theres a loop...there is a sealion feeding...I can tell you ALL the animals (and their names) if your interested.

interestingly enough, my dad just started volunteering as a docent there. i have never been, but he said it's a great zoo.
