Easter Traditions
We will be hiding easter eggs this yr now that dd is 2.5. We will also be color the eggs the night before. I hear some people hide the easter baskets some don't. I did buy bunny foot prints that I would like to use. tell me what everyone does? Egg hunting outside or inside? Hide baskets or not? anything else that people do

My parents always hid the easter baskets when we were kids and I loved it... Started that tradition with DD last year, but easy because she was only one and a half (it was under the kitchen table). This year will be a little bit harder because she understands it a little bit more.

coloring easter eggs on Good Friday with cousins
hiding plastic eggs on Easter morning
That's probably it for this year. As he gets older, I plan to also hide the basket, and have him go over to Grandma's the weekend before Easter and help her make her famous Easter pie!

Coloring eggs on Holy Sat.
Going to mass on Easter & then have a small little egg hunt in our home with plastic eggs in the afternoon. I don't do gifts for the kids on Easter. I want it to remain a religious holiday in our house, not a gift giving one.

Easter Traditions
last year we started one. We grab a decorative mini bucket as a 'pot' and 'plant' jelly beans in the fake grass. In the morning it 'grows' into lollipops!

Every year we "plant" colored jelly beans in a bucket/tin of some sort with easter grass. The next morning, bc of Easter "magic" it grows into one of those giant multi colored lollipops.
