Dry/ chapped skin around nose
Declan has had a cold for a few days now, with a constant runny nose, so of course we have been constantly wiping it. This morning, I noticed the skin around his nose is starting to get red and chapped. Tomorrow is picture day at school and I would hate for it to show up in his picture (yes, I realize that I am being totally vain and there much worse things to worry about!). What is the best thing to put on that will help it heal really quickly? Vaseline? Aquaphor? Something else? TIA!

I usually do aquaphor and that helps reduce redness over night until you start wiping again.

Yep aquaphor. Have you tried using Boogie Wipes, instead of tissues too.

I use Vaseline or Aquaphor. Helps quickly but you do have to reapply after wiping a few times or so.

I use triple cream. It's similar to triple paste (for diaper rashes), but it's meant for red, irritated skin due to eczema, made especially for babies. I put it on his lips and nose while he's sleeping.
I actually use this cream on my face daily since I have such severe dry skin.
