Coxsackie question?
In everything I read and ped said a child can return to school after being fever free for 24 hours and comfortable ( no pain from blisters in mouth etc). Both my dcs (3 & 5) have coxsackie, dd has been fever free since Monday morning and ds since Tuesday night), they only had sores in mouth, no hands or feet, etc. when would u send back to school? They go to kindergarten and preschool. (I am a ftwm). don't want to spread this to anyone but also don't want to keep home if ok to go to school especially kindergartener. Thanks for thought and opinions!!!

Re: Coxsackie question?
my DS had it a couple of months ago and the Ped said he couldn't go back until the sores went away...he was out for a whole week.

I would check with the school and see what their policy is. Ours dies not allow a child to return until they are fever free and blister free.

Re: Coxsackie question?
Thanks guys! Both my dc's blisters are gone (pretty mild case) but my dh and I decided to give them at least another day to recuperate and ensure they don't spread to anyone, would feel horrible if past the virus to another child.
