 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
$5 the first one.
I explain the difference between other kid's is based on the health of the tooth, so drink milk & eat broccoli

 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
$5 for the first tooth.
And his twin who has yet to lose a tooth got 4 quarters for patiently waiting, since the dentist told him 11 months ago one of his teeth was loose. The son that lost a tooth was going to give his twin a $ so I felt bad that he was willing to give away his money.
We were thinking $2 for every other tooth.

 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
We don't usually do money, we do gifts. Tooth fairy left a very small, but awesome army truck under my son's pillow when he lost his first tooth last August.
For the next tooth, it was a small race car.
  All toys were under $5.
I was caught off guard for the third one, (and he also didn't right a note to the fairy, which is a prerequisite for getting a toy:)) so tooth fairy left $1, which is rated highly in our house because that's what you use to buy ice-cream on Ice-cream fridays in school cafeteria.

 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
DD received $20 for the first, $10 for the second and prob around $2 to $5 for the rest. Her little brother got $5 also because she asked the Tooth Fairy in her note she wrote.

 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
Amelia got a pretty little bracelet and $2. She was so proud of the bracelet and showed it off to everyone that it totally trumped the cash.

Ds was expecting from 20 to 40 for the first one. We gave him 5 and a toy (glow in the dark balls).

 Re: x-post - Tooth Fairy
I swear my kid makes out like a bandit Growing up I got $2-$5. Apparently in DH's house it was a big deal. We wound up giving $20 for the first tooth and $5 for each after. Once in awhile a $10 if that is all the tooth fairy had on her that night
Plus the grandparents all give $20 every tooth.
Maybe I should start loosing teeth
