stopping bcp and ovulating
anyone remember when they first ovulated after coming off the pill? Reading online they say some o right on schedule (around 14 days) and others can take up to 6 weeks before the o
im just trying to get an idea on what you ladies experienced.

This is my first month off of BCP. My last period was 12/13 and I am ovulating now. With DS i felt when I was ovulating and got pregnant the first month and this time I felt it start yesterday.

Jo - how long are your cycles? I got AF on 12/8 and am ovulating now (today likely)... 30/31 day cycles.

That is my problem...i have no idea..before DS i was on BCP for 7 years and i remember ovulating with him 17 days after my last period. Today is 2 weeks since i had my period and I am def ovulating!

my cycles were about 33 or 34 days for the first few months off of bcp but this month ended up being only 29 days, so maybe my cycles are shortening.

I got AF regularly as soon as I went off the pill but I didn't start ovulating for about 8 months!

I wasn't getting + OPKs so I went in for blood work. I think I was just a fluke. Don't go by me. 
After I had my b/w I started getting +OPKs, but it was then we learned that we're dealing with severe male factor infertiity.

1st month off bcp I didn't use an OPK, but got AF on CD31. 2nd month I used OPK and got a + on CD21, AF on CD33. 3rd month I got a + on CD17, AF on CD28. I'm in the 4th month now CD15, no + OPK yet.
