Due Date changes
Did anyone's due date change?
I went from the one based on my LMP to being 6 days less based on the baby's size.
Has this happened to anyone else? It kinda sucks because now I feel like I am the same 13 weeks for 2 weeks.

yupp.. based on my LMP I was a couple of days ahead, but I knew I ovulated late (since I was using OPK).. the first sono confirmed it, but they wrote my due date based on LMP. I asked if they would correct it, it was off by a couple of days.. but unless its a week or more, they won't change the due date. It's just at estimate.. +/- couple of days.

My RE gave us one due date but the OB said a few days later. We are sticking with what the RE said. lol

Yes, this happened to me too and it was very confusing.
They gave me a date based off my LMP but then it changed it to 5 days later when I had my first sono due to the babys size. For the next few weeks I didn't know what to tell people when they asked me how far along I was. There are so many milestones in pregnancy and I was getting frusterated not knowing if I hit them or not.
I made sure to clarify at my second appointment and my OB said that since I was sure about the date of my LMP we would keep it to the origional date. I have my 2nd sono tomorrow so i'm curious to see if it will still show a 5 day difference or not.

Yes, this happened to me. Based on my LMP my OB gave me a due date then after going for all my tests they said the baby was measuring bigger so they moved my EDD up one week.

Yes, it happened to me too. It's very common, nothing to worry about! Based on my LMP I was given one date and when I had my first sono, it was changed to 9 days later based on baby's size. I must have ovulated late that month. It was definitely disappointing at first, realizing I was over a week earlier than I originally thought. But now I'm almost 23 weeks, and baby has been measuring right on track with my new EDD ever since.

yup, originally my due date was 3/2 but they changed it to 3/8 bc of how the baby is measuring. but it coiincides with my longer cycles/later ovulation so we all expected it.

My doctor doesn't change due dates because he says so few babies are due on their due dates anyway. And as PP mentioned often you will catch up along the way.

yes mine changed so many times I don't really know what they have it as anymore so I'm just going by my cycle. first it was 3 days later, last I remeber it was 5 days earlier. according to my cylce it should be the 17th then it was moved to the 20th then it was moved to the 13th. go figure.

My original due date based on LMP was Dec 14th..then bec I am so irregular that I must have ovulated MUCH later than 2 weeks after my LMP...so now based on tests and sonos my Due date is Dec 31....A LOT Later than I originally thought!

Similar story here. My RE gave us one date and then the sonographer at my OB's office gave me a date 2 days later. MY OB said to go with the date my RE gave me.
