Fell on Sat.

So I don't know how it happened but I fell down three concret steps yesterday. I landed on my hip/butt and arm. I avoided hitting my preggo belly. I didn't go to the hospital or call my doc because of how I fell, but now I'm wondering if I should have. I was soo nervous last night. Thankfully my LO has been moving normally. I'm just really sore and achy, so that's about it. Not to mentipon that my left hip and knee have been bothering me since last weekend becuase I was a little over zealous with cleaning. SO now I'm just one big aching pregnant lady.

I feel like such an idiot even posting this. I guess I should be thankful it wasn't a flight of subway stairs on may to or from work. I'm 2nd guessing if I should've called my doc or gone to the ER. Like I said though the baby has been moving normally and i've had no spotting. I just fell sore.


I just had to get thios out not even sure what I'm asking here.

oh no!!!!!! I am sure LO is fine but calling the dr might set your mind at ease, maybe he can do a sono to make you feel better

Don't worry, I'm sure baby is OK, just rest your body and relax.

if your LO is moving regular, i'm sure everything is fine, but me personally would call my doctor.

I'd call the doctor in the am. They might wanna do a quick sono, which in the end..you get to see the baby again! Feel better!

Oh no!! I'm so sorry. I'm sure your baby is fine - we're so much more durable than we think we are sometimes. You could always call your doc for piece of mind. And in the meantime, go get some rest!! And no more cleaning

i'm sorry, hope you feel better! pretty much everyone i know has fallen while pregnant and everything was fine. it's quite common - we're not so graceful anymore!

I am the same way, if LO is moving and there is no bleeding, I probably wouldn't call the Dr either. Your gut will tell you what to do, follow it. Hope you feel better soon.

I would give a call anyhow. It might give you some peice of mind. Feel better!

If LO is moving all around, I'm sure baby is ok but if you want peace of mind, go right ahead and call!

I too fell down stairs around 24 wks. Fell on butt hit back and arms i too was pretty banged up. I did go to Dr even though I felt baby moving. Just to make sure, they assured me how difficult it is to harm baby unless it's a direct hit to your belly. So just try to keep feet up and rest and monitor baby and look for nleeding or leaking of fluid. I'm sure all is ok.
