Is this just a stupid idea? blackout shade related
My DS' room has room darkening shades but not blackout shades. I was in his room this morning (from 5:40AM-7:30AM) and noticed that it starts getting light in there early, the sun hits his windows in the am as they face east. He has thick curtains too but still, the light comes through.
Anyway, i want to darken the room asap. Do you think that if I paint the inside of the shades (the part that faces into the room) a dark color, they will block more light?
They were cheap so i don't care if i ruin them.
As an aside, where can I get inexpensive blackout shades? Nothing fancy or special, just something to do the job. Can't spend too much bc we are doing other projects now.
