So today is somewhere between CD6-8(got AF on vacation and can't remember which day.) I noticed a ton of EWCM just before. I thought it was weird since when I have O'd on my own(whoch rarely happens due to PCOS) it's been like CD22. Anyway I had some cheapie OPK strips and a $ tree OPK. I took one of each and both looked like they may be positive. So I ran out and got some digitals and wouldn't you know  ! Does anyone else O this early? I figure if I get another smiley tomorrow then I'll probally O Wed which would be somehwere between CD8-10. Is this possible???
I should add that I know sometimes those with PCOS get false positive OPK's but I never have. The few times I've gotten a I've ovulated.
ETA: I just confirmed with DH that I started spotting on Monday and got AF on Tuesday so today is CD 7.

Thanks ladies, lord knows nothing has gone as planned while ttc for us so it wouldn't be too far fetched that I ovulate on CD 9 and finally get a bfp after a year!

i am for you but i will remind you to be cautiously optimistic with PCOS.
one cycle i had a +OPK with EWCM on CD10. i didn't ACTUALLY O until CD32 that cycles. had SO many false alarms on OPKs and we wore ourselves out way long before I ever actually Oed. remember that when left unmedicated for periods of time a prime PCOS symptom is elevated LH levels so OPKs don't always tell the story.
i dont want to be a party pooper, just a reminder from experience that with PCOS if it seems too good to be true - it probably is!
are you temping to confirm O????
again, i that it's the real thing for you!!!!!!!!!!

Oh I'm definitely not letting myself get too excited.
I am on metformin though and have been for a few months now so the PCOS isn't going entirely unmedicated. And since I was diagnosed with PCOS the first time (one doc said yes then one said no then RE said yes) I have had bloodwork done numerous times and never had elevated LH. Also, since we started ttc I have never gotten a unless I actually did O.
And yes I am temping so we'll know for sure in the next few days!

I have irregular cycles and all I did was track my CM and I got preggo. Dont go by the tests, go by your body and get to bd-ing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really any news. I got a two days in a row and then back to negative, which is good bc often with PCOS you get false positives for an extended period of days so that's ruled out. However it is still possible that the PCOS caused the positive. I was temping but of course the last few nights I've had awful nights sleep so I don't think my temps are accurate which means I can't confirm O like I had hoped. So basically I just have to play the waiting game now! Thanks so much for checking in on me!

Not to be a downer, but I may or may not have PCOS too (all the symptoms, none of the blood problems) and I get smileys / EWCM all the time but don't O. I'll have EWCM and a smiley on days 18-19, then again on days 26-27, then again on days 34-35, etc. It's like my body tries, tries, tries, aaaaaaaalmost gets there... and then nothing.
But that's me, not you, and I really hope your body is on track this month. You deserve something to happen nice and easy for once. GOOD LUCK!

Thanks so much! Oh believe me I know how sneaky PCOS can be  I never get 's though unless I actually O so I'm hoping that this is one of those rare months too where I actually do O. I've been on metformin for a few months now so I'm hoping that it has finally started to get things under control! We'll see though!

I've haven't been great at updating my chart  It does so far seem like a legit positive OPK. And like I said I NEVER get positive OPK's unless I actually O despite the PCOS. So I would be shocked if after being on metformin for a few months all of a sudden that started happening. I mean if I was going unmedicated I could see it happening and being a sign that the PCOS was worsening but I just don't think that's the case, intuition I guess I wish the last few days hadn't been so wacky with my sleep, bc of that I don't think my temps are accurate and can't confirm or deny ovulation at this time (sounds like I'm giving a press release )
