Help - Housewarming gift ideas!
I need to buy a housewarming gift for tomorrow and I'm drawing a blank. I was to spend around $50... Any ideas???

Personally, I do not like receiving tschochkes for the house. I have a very minimalistic decor (i.e. read PICKY TASTE, lol) Unless someone knows what I really truly like, I generally don't like to receive permanent stuff for the house, but that is just me. What I do like are things that can get used up, hence not take up space in the house, like vino or other alcohol ( yeah I don't waste too much time using those up ). Candles, though overdone are good if you know something about the scent the person likes, or atleast color for their decor. If you are thinking more appliances if it's a true housewarming party, hopefully the person has a registry. If not, buy them a gift with the intended amount you wanted to spend along with a gift receipt. I hope I helped.

One of my favorite housewarming gifts was a bottle of wine with a homedepot giftcard attached. Home ownership seems to equal alot of trips to homedepot

My go to housewarming gift is a gift card to home dept. I feel like you are there all the time as a new home owner and it will get used quickly and not take up unwanted space.
Other ideas:

Plant
Wine
Trivet/apron/oven mitts
