Do UTI's and Yeast Infections affect TTC?
i'm sure you probably still ovulate but does anyone know for sure if you have a UTI or a yeast infection if it will have any efftect on teh process?
i feel like i am getting something...i havent pinpointed it yet and im really upset because i think i am going to ovulate in a few days and now i dont knwo if i will be able to 
i know its not the best idea to while having something wrong but i dont know if i should just suck it up and do it anyway to not miss my chance

I just got a UTI from all the and they said it isn't a problem and put me on meds and said it wouldn't affect the potential baby

I had a UTI from my wild wedding weekend and then was schedule to ovulate the next weekend so I sucked it up and ! If it doesn't hurt, don't miss out on the opportunity. However, (TMI) I read that you should pee before and after sex and drink plenty of fluids...if you have a UTI.

I have read that you're supposed to do this regardless, because it's supposed to help prevent them from occurring. I just had this debate with DH last night because he asked me why I sit in the bathroom for like 10 minutes to try to force myself to piddle after  It works I guess because I haven't had a problem yet.

I had a UTI two months in a row while TTC. One came on just before O, but it was pretty bad. I was bleeding and everything. I went on antibiotics right away and my O was either delayed or didn't happen (I stopped using OPKs because of the holding factor). The dr said an infection can delay O and antibiotics can affect things like CM, so it's possible I wouldn't even know if I was Oing. We BD'd the night I first noticed symptoms and by the next day it was there in full effect. I felt like I had a fever and all. We stopped BDing until I felt better and was on meds for a few days.
The next month I got one 2 dpo, so luckily we were done BDing. I got pregnant that cycle, so it didn't affect implantation or anything!

I can't imagine even wanting to with a yeast infection--I feel pretty gross and its possible to spread it to your DH. Men can carry a yeast infections too...

I wouldnt because you run the risk of passing the infection on to your DH.
IMO I would just wait til next month
