yeast infection while TTC
So i'm on CD18, still waiting for that smiley and now i think i'm getting a yeast infection. What luck!! Would this affect anything? I wasn't sure if taking an OTC treatment would affect getting my smiley face or possibly becoming pregnant.

I don't think it would affect your ability to get pregnant... but I wouldn't BD with that! You don't want to pass it onto DH.
I'd go to your ob/gyn ASAP and ask for something TTC-safe... and also ask when it's safe to BD.

I am unfortunately in the same boat except it was after my smiley and BDing and we are in the 2WW period now and I was afraid to take anything sunday night but I did some research and it said it was ok so hopefully it was right...call your doctor and ask them...

You can take acidophilus which is available in the vitamin aisle and it is very safe and very effective! It is the active cultures that are in yogurt, they feed on the yeast...I know TMI...HTH!
