Exercise question
Do you think spinning is a bad while TTCing? I was thinking maybe it should be avoided during the 2ww, or do you think it should be avoided all month?

Re: Exercise question
I think it might be bad to start if you are not exercising but when you are TTC you do not put your life on hold. Keep exercising.

Re: Exercise question
Oh I agree keep exercising, but spinning seems to put so much pressure down there. I don't know maybe I'm just crazy.
ETA: Just did some more research. There are some people that believe it may affect fertility or erectile function in men, but the pain women feel has no long lasting effects. Though must places I found said it is something to ask you're doctor about once you do conceive.

I do very intense kickboxing and lift heavy weights and my Dr. said keep going. the only thing spinning might do is give you a sore crotch

Re: Exercise question
I asked my RE about exercising right after my IUI and he actually suggested to wait a few days.. NOT the whole 2 weeks though.. just the first few days..
Though, that was after an IUI, so I'm not sure if that would even apply for a natural cycle.
Good luck!!!

Re: Exercise question
I was a huge spinning freak up until a few months ago-I'm starting weekly spin classes this week again...I'm sure it's fine..Obvs that once your PG you won't be able to do it at such a high intensity.
I think the good thing is that BECAUSE you can control your own pace it's fine. At least that's what I think. My OBGYN said to still work out as normal.

I would imagine after an IUI I'd want to be super careful too.
