BF Moms - Exercise Question? -- UPDATED with another Q re: Sports Bras...
So I'm past the 6 wk point and now have the all clear to exercise again - thank goodness because I really need to (now I just need to find the time!)
I'm wondering if there are any restrictions on exercise due to BF - I didn't even think to ask about this at my pp visit but read in one of my books that you should exercise right after nursing/pumping only or by-products can get into your milk and that certain exercises for the upper body may increase the risk of getting an infection? What the heck?
Anyway, what exercises do you do and have you changed your pre-preg exercise routine because of BF? TIA 
ETA another question: What kind of sports bra do you ladies use? Is it bad to wear a really tight sports bra? I know they say to wear a tight sports bra when you want to stop BF and I don't want it to affect my milk supply in any way or lead to any clogging. Thanks ladies!

I read that you dont have to do anything different...just excersise after BFing so your not uncomfortable
I didn't hear anything about by-products?  I hope not b/c I ran 4 1/2 miles this morning!!!

WOW - 4 1/2 miles - good for you! That's amazing pp!
What to Expect when you are expecting says that burning fat too quickly can release toxins into the blood which can end up in your breast milk - not sure what that means ?? My Baby 411 book says your body produces lactic acid in your body that goes into your breast milk and may taste funny. And, I can't remember which boo it was but one of my bks said something about certain arm exercise increasing risk of infection?

OH YES!!! The bra!!! I went back swimming and my breasts don't fit into my swimsuit.

I go to spin classes and I just make sure I drink TONS of water... and EAT. Also, I make sure I take a shower before BFing when I get home or at least rinse off.

Yeah- running is a no-no for me as I look horrible with black eyes.....
Wearing a tight sports bra for an hour or two shouldn't affect your supply- but you may be slightly uncomfortable...

I was a C cup b/f getting pg...now I'm wearing DD  But, trying to smush them into my old sports bras
