I'm also considering putting the city mini jogging stroller on my registry.
I just wanted to let you know that the City Mini isn't a jogging stroller, it's just made by Baby Jogger. It's great for long walks and rough terrain (the front wheel does lock for long distances) but only the Summit and Performance (by Baby Jogger) are actual jogging strollers.

I think you're fine. I registered for and received a snap n go, Peg Perego Pliko P3 and a Maclaren. I also just bought the BOB Revolution last night. 
Right now, we're still using the snap n go. I plan to use the other strollers at different stages. When DS outgrows the infant car seat, I'll use the Peg Perego. I think the Maclaren will be a great stroller when he's a toddler.

OK, I am nowhere near registering, and maybe this is a very stupid question, but why do we need more than 1 stroller?
The snap n go is a stroller frame that can only be used with the infant car seat. It's very useful b/c the baby stays in the car seat and you don't have to wake the baby up when you get out of the car. It's lightweight and great for quick trips. It also isn't too bulky and can usually fit next to the table if you go out to eat. I love it.
Once the baby outgrows the infant car seat, you'll need another stroller. Some people buy a travel system, which is a regular stroller that can fit the infant car seat on top. If you get a travel system, you may only get that stroller. I personally didn't like the travel systems. I felt they were too bulky.

I registered for the Peg Perego Skate, the Graco snug fit with the snap and go and a jogging stroller.

When pregnant with DD I registered for the snap and go and a Metrolite and they worked out well.
Now, I need a double stroller but I'm not registering.

we got the peg perego switch, and snap and go, and i was given a jogging stroller to borrow. im going to buy the mcclaren umbrella stroller when we need it.

i registered a $100 Combi- umbrella style... for when he's a little older- and we received it
our friend gave us her Graco Quattro travel system- and the snap and go-
if she didnt give us those i still would have registered them...

1. the chicco keyfit30 travel system. we wanted to wait to buy an umbrella stroller on our own. we didn't wanna register for more than one because we didn't wanna seem greedy. plus strollers change every year.

BTDT... and we never registered for a anything with DS... we bought his travel system (which i hated by the way to bulky & i used the stroller maybe once)
the snap n go was given to me by a friend
and then i went through about 6 light weights before i ended up with the peg perego aria...
with this one.. the stroller we bought was $885 and we couldnt put it on the registry bc where we registered they didnt carry it..
we got the limited edition Boy Meets Girl Valco Jogging Stroller.

my infant seat is compatable with the jogger but i think the SNG is much more convinient for quick shopping trips, etc...
