Why don't you plan a weekend to get together with each other just to catch up. I'm sure she feels the same way you do.

well, i was angry b.c i feel like i am the one always calling, so i am ****** b.c of that. and as far as seeing eachother, i am frustrated b.c i dont see any attempts on her end to make plans..

I have no kids and I talk to my BF maybe once a month! I see her maybe once a year - she lives in Houston.

But I LOVE that when we talk, we can pick up right where we left off.

Come to think of it, I talk to and see my my close friends very infrequently - monthly.

BUT my hubby is my absolute best friend so I bounce EVERYTHING off him!

My MOH (and bff since kids) and I both got married this summer. Before that we spoke everyday, but saw eachother once a month maybe. Now we speak once a week if we are lucky and I have seen her once since Jan. Our schedules clash terriby.
Our other best friends (another couple) we are with just about every weekend.

right now, we're taking a kickboxing class together so i see her at least once a week... but in general, i see her 1-2x a month. we prob email or text once a week maybe.
neither one of us have children but our work schedules are very different... mine is nutty and it's hard for me to spend as much time with friends as i'd like.

I don't have kids. I speak to my friends a few times a week through email at work. I try not to call them after work because we are all newlyweds and I don't want to bother them at home. As for getting together, it's like once a month.

I talk to my best friend everyday. I have a DD and I still manage to make time whether it be in the car or while washing dishes.

i talk to my two best friends just about everyday either on the phone or online. seeing them well i use to live in the same building as one of them she had a baby and moved :( i still see her like maybe once a week or once every two weeks. my other friend i see once every few months though she lives pretty far out on li and we both have crazy schedules.

I live in Chicago, they live in NY, so I don't see them too often. But we talk often.

My BFF lives in Florida, we have a running date to talk on the phone every Friday afternoon on our way home from work. She works full time, goes to school, is pregnant and has a one year old. Her life is insane! But we make the time to talk every single week! She is also moving back to NY in a few weeks and we have decided to take the friday phone call and at the very least turn it into a friday afternoon cup of coffee. It helps that her husband is a superman with the kid stuff. I hope my DH can be half of what he is!!

I'm not married yet (Oct. 3, 2008!!), but I speak to my best friend almost every other day... her schedule is very hectic with finishing grad school, interning, and working... I never know where she is... but I see her about 1 or 2 a month... I wish it was more, but we're both really busy... she's not married either.

One of FH's best friends is married with a child and one on the way... we hardly ever get to see them, which is sad but we totally understand... they are working on their house, both are teachers, and they have a 15 month old and are expecting again in Oct.

Maybe once a month maybe once evey two months....its hard we are at different stages of life, we say Life just gets in the way, but we still love eachother!!

my BFF, Kiddo115, actually moved last summer to AZ. It has been hard since we are on different time zones & work different schedules. We do keep in contact via email & whenever she is in town, we see each other. We rarely talk but that is just bc of the time difference & I go to bed super early

My other good friend lives 2 minutes from me & we speak at least 3 times a week via email while at work. We try to do dinner at least 1 time a month or just go for a walk.

Leese, another good friend of mine, is in NJ but we speak everyday (Mon-Fri) via email while at work. We are each other's sounding board during the day. We try to see each other whenever we are in PA or NY.

I can say that once you do get married, things do change but since all my friends are in the same boat, we get it. There are no hard feelings if we don't speak for weeks.

My BFF lives in Virginia. She had a DS, I have no children. We talk once a week and play phone tag in between.
