That memorial for Oprah's dog KILLED me. I'm such a sap.

I sat holding Arnold the entire time...

that was definately a rough opener.

I was sad, but didn't cry. Until they went into the shelters and selected the dogs to be put down....that was the end for me, I lost it. They all looked like such nice dogs tooChat Icon

I looked over at my shelter rescue sleeping on the rug and felt even better about adopting himChat Icon

OMG that part sent me right over the edge!!!! I was seriously bawling my eyes out. All the while, Arnold (a shelter rescue too) was laying on my lap.

I did the same thing, crying while holding my Ginger...she was licking my tears. So sad.

I have been holding and hugging my dogs all night. I have been depressed all night. I watched it again at 7pm and am so sick in my heart and in my mind.

yeah, it's stuck in my head. i just keep hugging and kissing Arnold. Though to be honest, I do that anyway on a daily basis.

I said to my husband, if I feel this way about our dog, what the HECK am I going to be like when I give birth to a child?!

He agreed and said that's what scares him about having Arnold. We're nuts about him!!! Chat Icon

We are the same way. We already think we will go insane when one of our dogs gets sick or even worse...I keep bugging my dogs tonight more than usual. I can't wait to sleep in my bed with them tonight and cuddle them even more....Chat Icon

Arnie sleeps right between the two of us, it's the best feeling... it's also some pretty good birth control too! Chat Icon

You're not kidding. Ours dogs seriously get annoyed when we want to kick them out of the bed and they come running if they think "something" is going on in the bedroom, lol. They are dirty little piggies.

Chat Icon That's hysterical!!! Poor Arnold, the first time we had sex with him in the room, he was like WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON??? It was funny but at the same time I was like, "uh, maybe we should bring him downstairs or at least into the spare bedroom" Chat Icon

LOL, remove him from the room. I am convinced they know what is going on and it will scar them for life. LOL I really think my dogs get jealous, esp my girl dog. She is insistent on not being removed from the room. They seriously are birth control, but they are so adorable, you can't get mad at them...
