This was my second,with interchangable plates
I can't find my first, but it was a brick..huge...was kind of embarassing to take out but it was smart for me to have! It was 1998 and my mom got it for me because I was commuting 45 minutes to college everyday.

I got one I would say maybe around '99...after going out with friends one night in Brooklyn, and as I walked to my car some guy started to follow me... I jumped in my car and locked the doors and he started pounding on my windows...next day I went out and got a cell phone! I can't remember what kind it was.

I got my first cell phone in 1998 or 1999- it was a Nokia 3--- (don't remember the model number)- but it had detachable face plates- a greenish one and a purpleish one... I had just moved into my own apartment in Astoria- I think i was 23?
since then I've only had 5 cell phones.... I just got an LG Rumor and it's the first cell phone I ever had with a camera in it.

I had the Nokia with a pink see-through cover! Got it in 2000 I think, when I was going into junior year in college. I was able to have a car there that year and my parents wanted me to have a phone for when I drove home, etc.

I got my first phone in 1991. I was working in marketing & the company got us *BRIEFCASE* cell phones. The thing actually came inside a brief case. It was very Mrs. Poole.
