I thought it was awesome then, now it looks huge - here's a pic (mine was actaully bigger because I had the huge extended life battery on the back):

98 and it looked just like that i had at&t as a carrier and I paid per the phone call-my bill was

My dad had gottem me my 1st phone when I started driving to H.S.

I got my first in 1994. I was commuting to college and it was for emergencies only. I don't remember what brand, but it was like a brick! And it had 2 antennas that I could change between, they screwed in. It got so hot, and I don't think there was a calling plan.

It was 2001 I think when I graduated college. It was a little tiny Nokia, I can't remember the style number.

My first was a Motorola Star Tak that I bought in 2001. It looked exactly the same as the original 1996 version. I am only only my 2nd phone.
My DH didn't get a phone untill 2004!

I think I got my first one in 1996. It was a huge Ericson. LOL.
The only reason I got one was because I blew a tire on the parkway and had to get out and walk Off the parkway to find a freakin' payphone...At the nearest movie theater.
My mom came and saved me..LOL, then, she's like "Ok, time for phone!'

I had an Audiovox installed in my car!! It was 1990 and I worked for NYNEX Mobile Communications!
I remember at the time the big *** Motorola Flip was over three thousand dollars!!!!

I'm going to say sophomore year of college which would be about 1999-2000. It was a Nokia.
Recently Kevin got the Chocolate and we were like "Remember when cell phones didn't have colored screens?" It seems so long ago but it really wasn't!!

My boyfriend turned husband bought a cell for me in 1995. He started to worry about me one day when he couldn't reach me so the next day, I had my own cell phone. It was a Nokia but I don't remember the model.

I had this tiny Sony cell phone in 1997...I got it simply to arrange my social life. I loved it. I love Sony phones.
I have had a few Nokia and Motorola phones, but I keep going back to Sonys!
