Honestly? I think you're both doing an amazing thing for a wonderful cause. I would put the misunderstanding aside and not let it take away from the goodness of your actions.

I don't understand the reasoning for posting about it unless you were specifically looking for drama. Why not just FM?

Christina- There is no reason to have made this public..you could have asked friends for their opinions if you really wanted to discuss the post in such detail.

As a MOTHER to a preemie who walks in their name, Im personally INSULTED you would take something like this and cause drama....and if you didnt mean it that way, I would love to hear you say that because Im so upset right now over this thread and not sure what it proves to you, to Team CJ, to Gerty to anyone at all.

I think this is just awful.

Dont JUDGE PEOPLE or ask OTHERS to judge them for you unless you know 100% what is happening or their true intent.

I also felt like I was going to be begging for money this yr, because of all the team CJ links, that my team would not be recognized, but ultimatley the money goes to the same place, so whatever....But we all know a sense of pride comes from getting a good team donation, so Im sure all can see my mommy pride in that statement. ( and possibly Gertys as well if you think about it)

I do not nor will I ever understand your always trying to make mountains out of moe hills...but this time I feel like you took it a bit too far in calling Gerty out for a joke.

How do I know it was a joke? Because she is a good frined of mine who has always been there to help me through the pain I go through every yr remembering and honoring my preemie Daughters loss as well as her own families involvement in the walk so to think she would ever EVER say anything hurtful is so not the case.

I hope this ends and ends here

Why does it matter if there six different threads about teams for the march for babies. Honestly the money all goes to the same place.

I started a thread for my Team. I also got a donation. I also put Don't forget about team cj because Dooodles is a big poster on these boards My cousin is not. People KNOW doodles "personally" They don't know Jason's mom.

I guess my point is.... Whats the big deal with having a team cj a team gerty a team noelle and a team Jason?

I am not taking sides cause I like you all and I didn't see the original thread but no one said you can't post your OWN THREAD with your teams name on it!

so it's okay for YOU to be insulted, but not okay for ME to be? as i stated, this wasn't posted to create drama...i wanted to get OTHER peoples opinions on the comment -
not sure WHY you'd be so upset over this thread, as it really has nothing to do with YOU per say.

bingo! YOU are friends with her, not I. Therefore what one friend would interpret as joking with another friend...someone on the "outside" just might interpret things differently.

Well I still feel you could have handled this with much more class then this thread. Just My honest opinion.

I can see what your saying, sure I can, but theres no need to cause this type of post over something as serious as this whole things point...raising money.

So maybe you were offended, insulted.. LET IT GO..

Theres a bigger picture....I hope you see that.

We have proven one thing..that we all want to get as money as possble for this cause...lets move on in that thought and let this go.

Gerty said she didnt mean anything by it, explained herself...you got not only her answer but the opinions from others you were looking for.

Since you got what you were looking for as a point of this post....I hope you will be a bigger person and move on and let it go...

I applaud you all for taking part in such an important event and apologize to those who have unfortunatly had personal experience.
I think sometimes our passion takes over. Having passion for MoD is wonderful and could be a lot worse. If nothing else this thread shows that AND if there were people who maybe/somehow missed what a wonderful event was happening, maybe they will see this thread and recognize how many of our fellow community members have personally been affected and maybe, just maybe this thread will help open up thier hearts (and hopefully wallets!) to an amazing cause.
