What bottles are you planning on using

I used Dr. Brown's w/ DD but that was before all the stories about the toxic plastic chemicals released when the plastic is heated. I am looking into the Born Free.

What bottles are you planning on using?

I don't know and I feel so pressured from the hype about plastic.

I am currently using Dr. Browns but I LOVe playtex and I have that too. I might use drop ins next time.

Dh wants me to go buy the glass ones.
My frear is that I will keep dropping them b/c I am sooooo clumbsy.

I think the drop ins. Although I had such a great experience with Dr. Brown's. I think I'm going to buy one pack of drop ins and see how it goes. If the baby likes them, I'll stick to them. If not, I'll go back to Dr. Brown.

Question: I thought the drop in weren't part of the plastic chemical thing??

Re: What bottles are you planning on using

I registered for playtex drop ins and evenflo glass bottles. They are much cheaper than Born free! This is my first baby so I have no idea what will work!

They are still plastic, does anyone know if they are made with different materials that don't have the harmful chemicals?

I hope to EBF, but I'm registered for the Dr. Brown's - but I hadn't even thought about the plastic concern...

Playtex liners are made of plastic that do not contain BPA. Look here (there's a PDF attachment that has a statement from playtex) Thread

Re: What bottles are you planning on using

I will continue to use Avent I love them- they are the only ones I didnt have any problems with - all of my Dr. Browns after a few washes/sterilize the nips shrunk and they would leak.
