So I am in the processing of planning DS's 2nd birthday and am stuck on the invite list
I really want to have the same people I had for his 1st if not a few more..a real party not just a GTG. Now the issue is that one family (DH's cousin) has small parties for their kids after their 1st party and we were never invited which never bothered me. Now I want to invite them because I think it is important for the kids to play and know each other but I don't want them to feel obligated about inviting us to their parties.
So do you still invite people to your kids parties even if you know you will not be invited to theirs or haven't in the past?

yup!!!
i invited all dh's friends kids to first party and will for seconf party.... we werent invited to any... i dont care.. im doing for my kids not there's

I am invited to people's birthday parties and I don't invite them to ours. Problem is we have a very small budget and can't afford to invite everyone. We wish we could

I am inviting a lot of people that didnt invite us to their DCs parties. Like theothers said...they will turn it down if they dont want to come!
