back from the dr.
I went to the dr. b/c of my irregular cycles for the last 6 months. I showed her my charts and she said that out of the 6 cycles I clearly ovulated for 3 of them, and 3 were annovulatory. She isn't concerned yet since because up until this point my cycles were regular and I did technically get pg twice. So I asked about a referral to and RE and she explained that she would like me to wait a little longer, (which I am fine with) but she is going to do cycle day 3 testing on me assuming I don't get pregnant this cycle ( I am currently 9DPO but too early to test) then she said if the test come back normal she could give me clomid so I can ovulate regularly, and go from there OR if the test come back not so good she then will refer me to a RE right away. I am happy that she is being proactive and not rushing. So now I am just praying that I am PG right now and that it will stick and I won't have to go through any of this.

Re: back from the dr.
Glad to hear you went to the gyn. Many gyn's will prescribe Clomid for ovulation problems before sending you to a RE. Keep in mind, however, that RE's are really the experts when it comes to monitoring and tracking your ovulation if you decide to go on Clomid. GL!
ETA: Go to a RE when you are ready, not when your gyn decides to send you.

Re: back from the dr.
If you do go on clomid with your gyn, make sure you are being monitored. You need blood and sono done to make sure you are ovulating and that you are not producing too many follies. You also can have drying up of CM on clomid. My ob/gyn wouldn't prescribe me clomid, she had me go to the RE when it came to the point I needed it.
Good luck!

Re: back from the dr.
That is great that she has such a positive attitude, that is exactly what every woman needs in a sit. like this. I wish you and your DH nothing but the best!
