Zofran question
For those of you who take it, do you swallow the pill with water or let it dissolve in your cheek? My doctor told me to let it dissolve in my cheek but once that starts the chalky taste of the pill alone could make me barf.

Zofran question
Dissolve on my tongue. I only took half a pill at a time. I'd just stick it on my tongue and then swish some saliva over it several times until it disappears. You're not supposed to swallow it whole. If you have to, maybe dissolve it in a tsp of water and just take it like that?

OH! That would have been good to know! LOL! Maybe I'll try half a pill next time in a little gingerale or something that has flavor. Pills always taste to chalky and gross to me

I have the same problem. You can ask your doctor to write a script for the other kind. They do make it in pill form too. I have been guilty of swallowing the other kind too, I hate the taste!

Zofran question
I always cut the pill in half. A pharmacist friend of mine said it would be effective for half the time, but it could be enough to get me through the day just that way and maybe won't cause as bad side effects. I felt better taking it that way.
Feel better! I finally weaned off the zofran around 20 weeks. I still have some fits of nausea but nothing as debilitating as earlier on.
