Zofran Question
So excited to finally be prescribed this But I'm confused as when to take it....the bottle says take every 8 hours. When did you take yours? Do I take it 1st thing in the morning? How many pills do I take a day?

Re: Zofran Question
Wow. I was SO not excited to take it. But after losing 13lbs in 13 weeks. I had to.
You take it every 8 hours, I took mine first thing in the morning. Just watch, I had a problem with my insurance b/c I needed it, but they wouldn't refill it b/c it cost $900 for a 7 day supply. So even tho my dr prescribed it for 7 days, I had to make it last 28!

Re: Zofran Question
zofran is every 8 hours as needed for nausea---so you only take it if you feel nausea.

!
Why weren't you happy to take it?? I'm thrilled because I can't take this feeling anymore! I've lost about 6lbs in the past week.

B/c I didn't really want to take anything that strong that could affect my baby.
Also, I took it everyday, but I still threw up. It helps, but it isn't necessarily the wonder drug everyone makes it out to be. I took it my entire pregnancy and threw up til the day I gave birth.
Hopefully you will only take it for a short time though!

Re: Zofran Question
For me, I found that if I didn't take it an hour before getting up, I'm in big trouble. I actually keep it next to the bed and set my alarm for an hour before I actually get up. If I take it AFTER I get up, it's already too late--you may want to try that if you find it's not working very effectively.
I only need to take mine first thing in the morning--and maybe once every two weeks, I'll take one at night if I'm feeling shi*ty.
